Cumbernauld Trinity Parish Church

The congregation of Cumbernauld Trinity Parish Church was created on Thursday 15th August by the union of Cumbernauld Old and Kildrum and St Mungo’s Parish Churches at a Service of Union conducted by the Presbytery of Glasgow.

Morning worship on Sunday 8th December will take place at 11.00am in the Village Church and will be conducted by Rev James Gemmell. At this service we will be holding our Christmas Gift Appeal in support of the food banks both in the Village and at Bethlehem House of Bread at Cornerstone Church. If you are able, please bring your donations along to Sunday worship on the 8th. Gifts for all ages are welcome, preferably unwrapped (to allow for easier distribution). Also welcome are festive food treats. Our grateful thanks for all your steadfast support for the food bank throughout the years.

Our Cafe Church on Sunday 8th December will take place at 2.30pm at the St Mungo's Hub and will be led by Rev James Gemmell.

Used Stamps Appeal
During December and January, we will be collecting used postage stamps, such as those you will get with your Christmas cards, and donating them to this year’s Church of Scotland World Mission Used Stamp Appeal.
The proceeds from the Appeal will go to ‘Firmly Planted’, a tree-planting initiative in Malawi spearheaded by our partners in the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian. The money raised by this project will help create employment opportunities, improve nutrition, improve agricultural productivity, and help mitigate the impact of the climate crisis.
There will be a box for your used stamps in the Village Church and at the St Mungo’s Hub during December and January, so just pop them in when you’re at church and we’ll pass them on. Thank-you!
