The three planned Gatherings have all now taken place and there has been positive feedback from those who attended. Pictures from the Gatherings have been posted on the website here.
Brochures have been delivered to everyone who didn't make it along to any of the Gatherings, and follow-up visits have been made to collect the responses, i.e. the 'Count Me In' forms. Any remaining forms can still be passed on at church or dropped into the manse.
The
suggestions about our church life that were posted at the Gatherings - by children as well as adults - will be reviewed and passed on to the relevant body (Kirk Session or Congregational Board). We are committed to keeping our members informed about the success of the programme, so watch this space!
As the programme draws to a close, it's time to say "thanks" to the Planning Team and all the visitors for the tremendous amount of time and effort they put in; to everyone who came along to the Gatherings and contributed to their success, and to every member of the congregation for their prayerful support of this venture. THANKS!
