National Stewardship Campaign - Together We Make A Difference

Background:
The Church of Scotland is launching a National Stewardship Campaign which will involve every congregation in the kirk. Falkirk Presbytery (the one to which we belong) is one of two chosen to pilot the scheme, the title of which is Together We Make A Difference.

The Kirk Session of Cumbernauld Old has agreed to support this campaign.

Latest News:
Ten members of the congregation have volunteered to join a committee to take this forward and they had their first meeting at the end of October. At that meeting they heard a little more about how the stewardship programme will work in practice. They also agreed who would take on the various tasks required, so we are now up and running!

The planning process is now underway and a further two meetings are planned for November. The next edition of our Church Newsletter will bring the congregation up-to-date with what is proposed and when the various parts of the scheme will take place.

There's a lot going on in Cumbernauld Old and we want everyone to be a part of it.

This will be a significant campaign and one that will be repeated in every congregation of the Church of Scotland in the near future. I'm sure we'll be up to the task and we'll keep everyone posted through our intimations, church newsletter and - of course - this website.
