National Stewardship Campaign

The Church of Scotland is launching a National Stewardship Campaign which will involve every congregation in the kirk. Two presbyteries, Falkirk (the one to which Cumbernauld Old belongs) and Ardrossan, have been chosen to pilot the scheme

For Cumbernauld Old, the process kicks off with a presentation to a joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board at 7.30pm on Thursday 16th August in the Parish Church. At this meeting, Gillian Paterson a stewardship consultant of the Church of Scotland, will tell us all about the programme and what it will mean for all of us over the next nine or ten months.

This will be a significant campaign and one that will be repeated in every congregation of the Church of Scotland in the near future. I'm sure we'll be up to the task and we'll keep everyone posted through our intimations, church newsletter and - of course - this website.
