Latest News: 20th April 2009
Over the last few weeks a tremendous amount of effort has gone into preparing grant applications from Historic Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Project ROCK team has also been involved in numerous meetings with interested parties, not least the General Trustees of the Church of Scotland and the Property Committee of Falkirk Presbytery. Everyone has been very helpful and supportive and we would offer our thanks for the positive way they have listened and responded to our questions.
The focus for the next few months will continue to be on supporting our existing grant applications and exploring new avenues of funding.
The 'coffee jar' offerings - small change collected by members of the congregation - collected in December 2008 totalled an excellent £322. Many thanks to everyone who took part. A wee reminder that the next 'coffee jar' collection will be in June 2009.

Coffee Jars
If you would like to help the Church raise funds for Project ROCK
here is a simple way to do it – save your small change (usually 1 and 2 pence pieces) and keep them in a empty Coffee Jar.
(However, any jar will do.)
We collect the jars in June and December
and it all helps to make the fund grow. |
