Church Activities gallery

The theme of our first 350th Anniversary worship service on Sunday 11th January 2009 was "Firm Foundations and Living Stones". In this service stones in the shape of a cross were placed at the Communion Table to represent Jesus Christ as the foundation of the Church and then the children placed drawings of themselves and of stones (above) to complete the picture of a church composed of Living Stones.



That worship service was attended by various representatives of North Lanarkshire Council. The Council also hosted a Civic Reception and Lunch for the congregation at which we were presented with a beautiful engraved crystal vase. The pictures below shows the vase being presented to Rev Catriona Ogilvie by Provost Tom Curley and James McCabe, Leader of the Council
