Church Magazine: Festival of Light 11 December 2011

The Annual Festival of Light, or Carols by Candlelight, Service will be held in the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, 1 Esk Walk, in the Town Centre, at 7.30 pm on Sunday 11th December 2011.

The service was originally scheduled for Sunday 12th December 2010 but, as folks will recall, the weather put paid to many events last winter!

This is our first visit to Cornerstone, where we will receive a very warm welcome; and it would be great to have a good turn our of members from Cumbernauld Old. As well as Carol Singing, Croy Silver Band will again perform and this year the choirs will be represented by Whitelees Primary School and the Ladies Gaelic Choir. Additionally, Cornerstone's own Praise Band will also perform.

It promises to be another wonderful evening of praise and fellowship, so please make a note in your diary and make an extra special effort to be there on the night.

The Ticket Donation is £1, and these can be obtained from Sandra Graham prior to the event, or make your donation on the evening of the event.

Cumbernauld Christian Aid Committee and the Third World Group of Sacred Heart Church have arranged the evening, and the Donations will be distributed between the two organisations to enable them to further their work against World poverty.
